The Neutrik powerCON True1 PAT Testing Adaptor Set contains two adaptors which have lockable, waterproof (IP65) connections that can be used to test Neutrik PowerCON True1 Leads and cables which are typically used for powering appliances outdoors. Earth bond testing and insulation resistance testing are possible with these adaptors but they should never be plugged into the mains as they are unsuitable for powered tests. Firstly, there is a male connector to mains plug adaptor and secondly there is a female connector to IEC plug adaptor.
Together, the two adaptors can be used to convert a 16A mains plug to an IEC plug via their interlocking, waterproof connections which makes them ideal for use when workers are exposed to the elements. They are compliant with IEC 60320 and VDE 0625 standard and have power breaking capacity so can be disconnected or connected whilst the power is on.
