The Megger PAT320 Business in a Box has a tester and several accessories designed to help electrical professionals make the step into the PAT training sector. The tester included is the Megger PAT320 which can perform all the tests associated with PAT testing at 110V and 230V. These include earth bond testing with currents of 25A, 10A and 200mA so it can be used for testing both industrial equipment and IT appliances. The colour screen clearly displays PASS/FAIL functions and test readings and the function buttons allow quick access to the different tests.
Aside from the Megger PAT320 itself, the Business in a Box also features two useful guides to PAT testing. The first is a printed guide to the practicalities of PAT testing which acts as a useful reference to any PAT testing professional, regardless of experience. The second is a CD guide to the PAT testing industry containing advice on how to get started as a PAT business.
The Megger PAT320 Business in a Box has an IEC adaptor for carrying out tests on extension leads and three rolls of labels (two PASS, one FAIL) are easily enough for the user’s initial PAT testing workload. A PAT test report book is included so the user can record test results and a Megger carry case is provided to transport and store the tester and its accessories.
