Description

The Fluke 6500-2 PAT Tester takes over from the previous and very popular 6500 model using a similar interface and instrument layout but with improvements. Further to its predecessor the Fluke 6500-2 offers the following additional benefits:

  • Additional USB port for connecting to optional printer.

The Fluke 6500-2 is a mains powered but lightweight and portable PAT tester with a full alpha numerical QWERTY keyboard inbuilt for data storage and and rapid appliance data input. This makes the Fluke 6500-2 a great option for professional PAT contractors or companies with a large fleet of appliances that requires maximum traceability and speed of testing.

Weighing just 3kg (without the carry case) the Fluke 6500-2 is the lightest and most portable mains powered PAT tester available and comes supplied with a practical hard carrying case which offers plenty of extra space for labels, adaptors and other accessories.

Using the one-touch test buttons on the 6500-2 tests are initiated by the push of a button making testing quick and easy. Auto sequence tests can be user determined and modified to fit special requirements.  Appliance information is entered using the QWERTY keyboard which can be sped up further using integral site, location and appliance description codes.  The Fluke 6500-2 stores up to 1000 test results within its memory which can be backed up to the USB drive and transferred onto PC software (SimplyPATs Version 7 Software) for PAT data management and report generation.

Using optional Fluke 110V adaptors the Fluke 6500-2 can be powered from a 110V supply or transformer and conduct the full range of tests on 110V appliances as well as 230V. Please note that Fluke specialised 110V adaptors are required for active 110V testing.

The large colour display and inbuilt help screens makes the PAT tester as easy to use as possible both for experienced PAT contractors and those new to PAT testing.
