The Megger PAT150 Small Business PAT Testing Kit is a practical solution for businesses carrying out routine portable appliance testing in line with the IET Code of Practice. The PAT150 can test Class I, Class II and Class III (SELV) appliances, as well as extension leads, with earth continuity, insulation resistance and substitute leakage testing covering the core checks required for PAT testing.
Mains-powered earth leakage, touch current and portable RCD testing provide additional options for assessing a wider range of electrical equipment. Adjustable pass limits and test durations allow the tester to be configured for different appliance types and testing requirements, while lead resistance nulling helps improve measurement accuracy. Battery-powered operation supports testing where mains power is unavailable, and the rugged rubber over-moulding and toughened Gorilla glass provide protection during regular field use. The kit includes accessories to support efficient testing and record keeping.
