Kewtech EZYPAT Plus PAT Tester

The Kewtech EZYPAT Plus PAT Tester stands out thanks to its ability to perform load and run testing for 110V and 230V appliances despite being a battery-powered tester. It is also capable of 200mA continuity testing, 250V & 500V insulation testing, substitute leakage measurement and polarity checking. The load and run testing function is particularly useful for checking handheld appliances whether they run off a 230V or 110V supply. It is especially noteworthy on a battery-powered tester as it allows the user to perform this important test without needing a separate mains supply.

The 200mA test current for earth bond is IT safe and can be extended to a 5s duration if required. The Kewtech EZYPAT Plus’s lower 250V test voltage for insulation testing also allows assessment of surge-protected extension leads whilst a nulling function cancels out test lead resistance for greater accuracy.

The Kewtech EZYPAT has a clear LCD display that shows digital readings from tests alongside a PASS/FAIL indication. The screen flashes red to indicate a failed test and green to indicate a passed test so results are immediately apparent. The automatic test sequences for Class I and Class II appliances and extension leads each have an individual button so the user simply needs to identify the appliance type, connect it, and then push a button to perform a complete PAT test.

A full set of accessories including an extension lead adaptor, earth bond test lead, crocodile clip and test probe are supplied with the Kewtech EZYPAT Plus alongside a useful carry case. The compact nature of the PAT tester makes it easy to store and transport whilst the rechargeable battery will last for roughly 140 tests.
